Saturday, December 1st, was the last day of the project: Sibiu – European Capital of Culture 2007. The city has been visited by 1 million tourists, and according to the Money Channel poll, 85.75% of the people interviewed think that the program has been efficient, despite the fact that the city was not included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage.
Anyway, don’t hesitate to take a virtual tour of the Romanian cities through the new Flickr service, Flickr Places (I found this via Hoinar-pe-Web). Flickr Places allows you to see pictures from any city in the world … including Romania.
